and boy was it awesome. it claims to be the first full length animated feature out there (1926!) and though the story gets maaad repetitive (how many times can the princess get kidnapped by the 'african magician' anyway?) its a visual wonder.

Ok, I've watched it twice now. I know that it's far from perfect, the Pussy Wagon schtick makes me want to die, but still, dem girls go at it with gusto and I'm not about to deny them agency in their bizarro representation/aesthetic sensibilities cus of the subtext of whats kind of a 10 min Tarantino BJ.
